Once she learned to play(which, of course didn’t take long), she learned to appreciate the guitar and live music in general.

Soon after, Suzie realized she had many fans following her career as a Company mascot…AND as a Guitar player.  She couldn’t even go down the street without seeing her name around town as she receives love from her fans (click on picture to read the license plate)!!!

Let’s catch up with Suzie and see how her summer is going!

A trip to Vegas was in order for young Suzie (OF COURSE!) - she wanted to explore the nightlife and discover what kinds of delicious food would grace the menus some of the “finer establishments.”  Here we have Suzie visiting the trendy TAO (which means cow in Japanese), and since it’s the “Year of the COW”, Suzie took a minute to study the menus and discovered that they serve KOBE beef.  She remembers stories of some of her Japanese cousins enjoying “Cow-Spa” treatements in Japan (cow-massage, beer and wine served for cow-drinks, etc.), but she hasn’t heard from them in awhile.  Hmmm…curious…let’s move on.

As we all know, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas:  “Congratulations, you may Kiss the Cow”!  What’s up with Jealous girl in the pink shirt?…(stop hatin’ and start celebratin’!!!)

Back on the Eastern Seaboard, and the Summer of Suzie meets the “Boys of Summer”….our very own Boston Red Sox, as she takes in a game at Friendly Fenway! (outfitted in pink rain coat just in case of rain)

 Ready for a quick snack? When the Summer of Suzie heats up, she knows how to cool down.  She goes to the UCONN Dairy Bar for some delicious homemade ice cream.  Check them out online and make a trip down there, and of course, tell them Suzie sent you!

Nothing wrong with a little rest and relaxation, but she’s not exactly aware of the local customs and subtle differences between the U.S. and Amsterdam.  For example, if you visit a bar in Amsterdam they may just offer you something besides beer to ENHANCE your experience…GRASS!  Squeezie Suzie, like all cows, loves Grass…she sometimes longs for the lush fields of Vermont.  But, there is one thing about cows and grass…after too much, Suzie gets Silly.

So, how did Squeezie Suzie’s Amsterdam Adventure end?  Not so good…It turns out that you can enjoy all the GRASS you want (because, as you know, cows do love grass)…but you can’t try and take it home on the plane.  Squeezie Suzie is currently being detained  in the Airport Security Breakroom!

Since their last adventure, some of our cows decided to hit the road!  After a brief review of the map, Cheddar Belle puts together a travel plan and our Squeezie Suzie’s hit the road:

One Squeezie Suzie decided to head south:  Enfield? Hartford?….No, she ended up in Florida! How did this happen? Simple: Cows can’t read maps!!!  She really needed a CPS (Cow Postitioning System).

Luckily, she found herself in the capable hands of Big Tom at TLS in Orlando…which just happens to be a happy customer of Get Set Marketing…nice LOGO ;)

Cheddar Belle and the Suzie cows have many fans out there, but perhaps none so enthusiastic as “Cowboy Bob”…Cowboy Bob not only has clothes made to look like cows, but rumor has it, he has a pasture in his bedroom and sleeps standing up! Among his hobbies: Standing around, chewing grass and that’s about it…

But the surprise of the evening came when the “King of Cow-Town” made an appearance!!!  He’s cool, he likes cows, and he owns a chain of Tanning Salons(King is pictured with customer) He’s the King!  Please take note of his cane…custom-made from Lou’s Custom Cow Canes in Atlanta, GA

Anyways, it is 2008 - which just so happens to be The Year of the COW.  And don’t try to look it up on any Chinese Calendars, we already did the research; It’s The Year of the COW.  Cheddar Belle is ready to celebrate by hitting the road and visiting the region which she now calls home: Western Massachusetts.  She’s going to visit friends, attractions, businesses and clients of Get Set Printing. And if she can’t visit because of her schedule, we’re sure a Squeezie Suzie can go in her place.   We’ve been getting pictures and stories of Squeezie Suzies traveling the country! (keep the pictures coming, and we’ll be sure to post them in future blogs!)

One Squeezie Suzie was spotted at a recent Trade Show for the Chicopee Chamber of Commerce.   She was happy to learn more about the promotional efforts to attract tourism and business to this region of Massachusetts http://www.valleyvisitor.com/

She was also seen at a Grand Re-Opening of Holiday Inn in Holyoke, MA at 245 Whiting Farms Rd.  She had a great time celebrating the beautiful rennovations and is seen here enjoying some ginger ale from a wine glass!

And then, on to McGuirk Stadium in Amherst to witness the UMASS Football team and cheer them on to victory!!!!
