Don’t Eat the Cheese!!!

December 10th, 2008 by admin

You can’t just feed a Squeezie Suzie Cheese…it doesn’t make sense.  You remember Gremlins don’t you? There are rules about having a cow and this Holiday season, the rules were broken.  Granted, it happened unbeknownst to Suzie’s owner, but when that precocious little Bovine gets her hands on some Cheddar…there’s no telling what can happen.

The night started out as an innocent evening: Squeezie Suzie put on her “Holiday Best” to attend The annual GSCVB Membership party.  If you “Want In” for next year’s event, now’s the time to sign up to be a member: http://www.ValleyVisitor.com

The cheese platter came out, and Suzie had her eye on it…kind of “scoping it out”

And then something very strange happened: she got her cute little hooves on a piece of cheese and things started to change: inhibitions lost, her surroundings darkened into an ominous purple hue…it seemed now that Suzie was in a Tim Burton claymation adventure…

She never partakes in any type of beverage, but she did go straight for a bottle of the good stuff!

And that was all she needed…next thing you know, she’s swinging from a TREE…very Un-Suzie of her!!!

And after that, she started “Picking up checks” left and right…charging everything to the Get Set Marketing corporate account!!! What??? Squeezie Suzie…this is coming right out of your paycheck!

The moral of this story? Suzie does not act normally after eating cheese…but don’t let that worry you too much…she’s a great companion.  As a matter of fact, she’s getting a whole shipment of friends very soon.  So, if you don’t yet have your very own Squeezie Suzie, then now is the perfect time to request one.  She can sit on your desk and remind you of the best place to purchase your marketing materials: http://www.GetSetPrinting.com

It was definitely time for a Holiday portrait, so Cheddar Belle gathered the Family by the roaring fire and we got a rare glimpse of the family of cows…all together…like it should be for the holidays.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Get Set Marketing!

Flippin’ Out!

November 17th, 2008 by admin

There she was…lying upside down on a table…and we were wondering what happened? Is Squeezie Suzie injured?…Is our favorite little cow down for the count? Not to worry - she’s just having fun in the new craze that’s sweeping the nation (cow-nation, that is)

You’ve heard of Flip-Cup…You’ve heard of Cows…now there’s “Flip Cow”! It’s a fun activitiy you can play with your very own Squeezie Suzie and takes little of no time to learn how to play.  Step one: Take our your Squeezie Suzie, Step two: Flip her in the air!  That’s pretty much it… and if you get her to land on all 4 legs, then you win! Other details are a bit fuzzy, but that’s the fun of the game: you can adapt it with your own style and put your spin on it!

(other Flip Cow pros in action!)

Wow - But enough fun…back to work!

It’s been quite awhile since we’ve seen an updated photo of Cheddar Belle…she’s been doing quite a bit of work for www.GetSetPrinting.com behind the scenes.  Most recently, she caught up with the crew as they took over the Chicopee Chamber of Commerce Tabletop Event http://www.chicopeechamber.org/

(Cheddar giving some sales advice to Dan Bessette)

(expert sales staff ready to rock: Paul Bessette and Michael Herbert)

(and then Squeezie Suzie got in on the action by supporting the Junior Achievement of Western Mass at their Stock Market Challenge http://www.jawm.org/ )

(admiring some cheese…she recognizes which cow it came from!)

When it comes to picking stocks…Suzie is “Bullish” on the future :)

Squeezie Suzie is heading into the Holidays and hoping for a strong finish to 2008…She also wants to remind everybody that it’s important to keep advertising and marketing your business despite a slow economy.  She always says: “Don’t cut your budget, cut your costs”…in other words, by choosing www.GetSetPrinting.com you’ll be saving money on your printing needs for postcards, flyers, biz cards and brochures.  Don’t forget about your websites either! The team at www.GetSetMarketing.com can analyze your website and make recommendations on how to improve your web traffic and increase business!

Keep checking back for more updates…and make sure you link up to Squeezie Suzie on Facebook :) Just look up “Squeezie Suzie”

Until next time - go ahead, have a cow!

Showdown at the Y.C. corral…!!!

Has Squeezie Suzie met her match? Is our heroine in trouble? Is she about to become a couple ounces of hamburg?

NO - that’s Suzie being silly posing next to her new friend…the Yankee Candle Cow…in South Deerfield, MA

She looks great on the the shoulder…

Suzie was at Yankee Candle to see the unveiling of the Greater Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau 2009 Marketing Plan.  If you’re not a member yet, it’s time to join and be a part of the marketing efforts to promote the Pioneer Valley http://www.valleyvisitor.com/

Suzie likes to remind members of the GSCVB what she can provide:  She says that www.GetSetPrinting.com has been busy supplying quite a few hotels with Rack Cards….these are the full color, 4″x9″ cards that you see in Visitor Information Booths and Brcohure Racks.  They’re printing and shipping to hotels inside and outside of New England: MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, NJ, PA, MD, DE, TN, IN, CO, GA, MI, and FL…they must be doing something right…5,000 Rack Cards for $395 gets a lot of attention from customers!

Suzie brought some Friends with Her to showcase some of the wonderful printing samples and pricing from the guys at www.GetSetPrinting.com    Here’s Paul Bessette standing next to the table…giving the THUMBS UP!!! (it must mean things are going well)…

She took a quick tour through the Yankee Candle village:

And even found time to relax and picnic:

Exciting news for Squeezie Suzie!…she’s on Facebook now, so make Friends with her today:
